2) Congrats to Dave & Lauren for an amazing wedding last weekend. Yay! Happy one week anniversary!


3) I got a new camera - a Nikon D80. Joy! It was a pain in the butt to get since apparently no postal worker seems to know where our apartment is. There were several phone calls and appearances at Fed Ex before I finally got it - the morning of Dave & Lauren's wedding. Sigh. I do love the camera though and I have a lot to learn about using it. I am also in the market for a Tamrac Expedition 3 carrying case... ya know, just in case you want to buy me a present or something.


4) Harvey. My brother and I got my mom a ragdoll kitten. His name is Harvey... and Lily, my cat, hates him. Absolutely positively hates him. We knew it would be this way, but what can you really do? I keep telling myself that I will whisk Lily away in about a year, and that she will be able to deal until then, but I feel like such a bad mommy. Poor girl. She has been actually depressed since I left the house. She sleeps all day, stays out late at night... all sorts of typical "depressed" behavior. Any cat psychologists in the house?! And I have to admit too, that I never have really looked back and missed moving out of my house... but I really miss Lily. I get sad when I think about her! Pathetic, right? Oh well... one more year, one more year...


5) Things have been busy at work... still. I have been trying to balance my ridiculously time consuming Earth 501 class at PSU with getting into more Reverb stuff and keep on top of my students at school... but its still a bit much.



I think that is it for now... I am sure there are tons of things to talk about, but I really ought to get some things done this morning before I go to work. Sigh.
